ABOUT US

Warren Gregoire & Associates first entered the exotic audio marketplace in 1998, with the London (Decca) phono cartridges, as a full line, stocking retailer. In 2000, the first version of the IKonoklast 3 speaker system was introduced. Our company became installing agents for the Vacuum State line of SACD player modifications, designed and manufactured by the late Allen Wright during 2001. Around 2006, the Ikonoklast 3 tweeter was improved to the “HO” version, and received extremely favorable editorial coverage from dagogo.com reviewer Jack Roberts. Soon afterwards the product line was supplemented by the lower cost Ikonoklast 5A, and the new top of the line Ikonoklast 2DX4, utilizing a Lowther driver, and no tweeter at all. Around 2008, vacuum tube audio plus SACD/CD player maintenance was added to our product and services mix.

When you phone us at 510-282-9300 or 800-634-0094, a knowledgeable live person usually answers. We are happy to consult with you concerning your particular application. There is voice mail available during busier periods, if you would like to leave us a message.

GUARANTY / WARRANTY

As a factory authorized retailer for London (Decca), Warren Gregoire & Associates offers the full One Year Limited Warranty from the manufacturer, with each purchase of a new cartridge. We are the manufacturer of the Ikonoklast speaker line, and offer a five year limited warranty, and we stock replacement drivers for both warranty and post warranty needs. The speakers have been designed so that, in most cases, the end user should be able to replace a faulty drive unit “in the field, “ without the need to transport the system to our facility. Vacuum State SACD player modifications are provisioned with a 5-year parts and labor limited warranty, but no warranty is provided for the player, itself. However, it is our policy to continue to service players that we have previously modified, even though they may have been long ago discontinued by the manufacturer. Most of our audio repair work includes a 90-day labor warranty, and whatever parts replacement or other support that may (or in some cases may not) be available. Specifications and prices subject to change without notice.

RETURN / REFUND POLICY

Generally, new London (Decca) cartridges may not be returned for refund. However, we may make an exception in some cases, but a 15% restocking fee would then apply. This allows us to sell these cartridge (now classified as used demonstrators) at reduced prices. We carefully screen each potential buyer, to minimize the possibility that compatibility problems might be encountered. So don’t be disappointed if you ask us for reduced price demo units, and we have none- they are a rare occurrence.

Ikonoklast speaker systems are sold with a 60-day money back guaranty, and a 15% restocking fee would be deducted from any refund.

If you do need to return your purchase, please call us to be sure you have the current and appropriate address, and to be sure that all details of any return transaction proceed smoothly. Use our main phone number 510-282-9300 or our toll free line 800-634-0094 for this important call. This advance notice will enable us to start your refund process early. Then you should receive a credit on the same card or PayPal account you used to place your order, within about one week after we receive your eligible returned merchandise. In event you have paid by check, we shall mail a refund check to you.

You may select whichever carrier you prefer for your return shipment. We find that USPS, Fedex and UPS all are extremely reliable, and they rarely lose or damage a package. This makes a good argument for declining any extra cost insurance. But you should be aware that as the shipper, you are financially responsible in the truly rare event that the package might be lost or damaged. And the carriers offer to take that small risk for you, with insurance, at extra cost. So please purchase insurance, only at your discretion.
